हम, लाखों रेडियो श्रोताओं के जीवन में खुशी और आशा का संचार करते हैं। उन्हें जानकारियों और ताज़ा खबरों से लैस करके उनके जीवन का अँधेरा मिटाते हैं। लेकिन... खुद हमारा जीवन कैसे अंधेरों से घिरा है।
दूसरों का जीवन प्रकाशित करने वाले हम खुद कितने बेबस और डरे हुए हैं ! कारण ...
कहीं हमारी ये दो टके की "नौकरी" न छीन जाए ... हमारी इसी मजबूरी और भय का दोहन करते हैं वो जो यहाँ पर परमानेंट हैं और जिनके लिए हम कीड़े मकोड़ों और दर दर के भिखारियों से अधिक हैसियत नहीं रखते . हर रोज़ पास बनवाने के लिए आकाशवाणी रिसेप्शन पर अपमान सहते हैं, प्रोग्राम को बेहतर बनाने में हमारे साथ कोई खडा नहीं होता , हाँ छोटी सी कमी को आउट ऑफ़ प्रपोर्शन प्रस्तुत किया जाता है, हम अप्रासंगिक और पुरानी पड़ चुकी मशीनों के साथ जूझते हैं, लड़कियां अक्सर ये शिकायत करती हैं की रात के ड्रायवर पिए होते हैं या उन्हें उनकी मंजिल से दूर कहीं छोड़ जाते हैं, अगर हम एन सी आर में रहते हैं तो हमको ट्रांसपोर्ट भी नहीं मिलता, जिस ऑफिस में प्ले लिस्ट बानाने तक को कागज़ न मिलता हो ...पीने का पानी न हो... अयोग्य और उथले अफसरों की खुशामद ही जहां ड्यूटी पाने का आधार हो... ऐसे ओर्गनाइज़ेशन से प्यार कैसे बढ़ पायेगा ...
यही सब सोचते हुए और अपने प्यारे रेडियो को उसकी खोयी हुई चमक में वापस लाने के लिए हम और आप "अपना रेडियो बचाओ" नाम का अभियान चला रहे हैं। इस बात की ज़रुरत हम सबने इसलिए समझी है कि हमारे ही बल पर यह इतना बड़ा सफ़ेद हाथी ज़िंदा है और हमारे खून पसीने और लगन का ही नतीजा है कि आकाशवाणी पर कोई कार्यक्रम प्रसारित हो पाता है ... वर्षों से अस्थाई और कैजुअल का धब्बा लगा कर जीते हुए हमें कोई ऐतराज़ नहीं था लेकिन हालात बाद से बदतर होते जा रहे हैं। अफसरों में यह अहसास पक्का होता जा रहा है कि वो इस आकाशवाणी के भाग्यविधाता हैं और संविधान के प्रति उनकी कोई जवाब देही नहीं है।
वर्षों से यही क्रम चला आता है कि छः -छः महीने साल - साल भर पेमेंट नहीं होता ... इस साल तो हद ही हो गई है वित्तीय वर्ष ख़त्म होने के बाद अब मई भी ख़त्म होने को आया और पैसे नहीं दिए जा रहे हैं... वैसे जब पेमेंट होता भी है तो अकाउंट डिपार्टमेंट वालों के नखरों से कौन अनजान है?हम आपके इस भरपूर उत्साह और कंधे से कंधा मिला कर चलने की भावना को सर आँखों पर रखते हैं और आशा करते हैं कि आप इसी तरह भारी संख्या में एकजुट रहेंगे और अपने प्यारे रेडियो यानी आकाशवाणी को वापस सम्मान दिलाएंगे ... भूलना नहीं चाहिए कि यह वो इमारत है जहां देश की सर्वाधिक प्रतिभाशाली हस्तियाँ काम करने बुलाई जाती रही हैं और जिनके रात-दिन के परिश्रम से देश की जनता का जीवन कल्याणमय हुआ है. आज किसी को भी इस ओर्गनाइज़ेशन पर रोना आयेगा जहां भाई भतीजों की औसत प्रतिभाएं एयर पर हैं ...दीवारों पर पान की पीकें और थूक के थक्के ...आवारा कुत्तों की यहाँ वहां पडी भीड़ ... एफ़ एम गोल्ड पर फर्जी कागज़ साइन कराए जा रहे हैं और बैक डेट में अंडर टेकिंग्स ली जा रही हैं ...पेक्स अपनी कमियों का ठीकरा प्रस्तोताओं के सर पर फोड़ रही हैं और चाटुकारों को सर पर बैठा रही हैं ... रेनबो पर फीस का स्ट्रक्चर ऐसा मनमाना बना हुआ है कि मौजूदा पेक्स भी विसंगतियों को देखकर हैरान हैं ...इन्द्रप्रस्थ और राजधानी पर मिलने वाली फीस अनस्किल्ड दिहाड़ी मज़दूरों से भी कम है डीटीएच वाले ४०५ रुपये प्रतिदिन पाने के हकदार हैं पर उन्हें भी वर्ष २००८ से पैसे नहीं मिले हैं ...अभी तो सिर्फ दिल्ली केंद्र की बातें हुई हैं बाकी सभी विभागों की पूंछ उठाइये तो क्या नजर आएगा कल्पना की जा सकती है।
इन स्थितियों की खबर पाकर मीडिया और बौद्धिक जगत से लेकर आम श्रोता और बड़े -बड़े वो अफसरान भी दुखी हो उठे हैं जो एफ़ एम गोल्ड आदि चैनलों के साथ दिल की गहराइयों से जुड़े हैं ...आये दिन अखबारों और मीडिया में जो बातें चल रही हैं वो इस बात का प्रमाण हैं कि आपकी आवाज़ को जनता की आवाज़ माना गया है और सब लोग आपको प्यार करते हैं और आपका जीवन सुखी देखना चाहते हैं इसलिए डंटे रहिये और खुश होइए कि कि निकम्मे और मोटी चमड़ी वाली मुलायम आवाज़ें बस थोड़े दिनों के लिए ही हैं । क्योंकि जब तक चीज़ें ठीक नहीं हो जातीं ...यह सवाल पूछा जाता रहेगा कि "बताइये दुनिया के उस देश का नाम ...जहां के रेडियो पर बोलने वाला ही सबसे अशक्त, भयाक्रांत और अधिकारविहीन है?"

music is the elixir of life! or so i had thought until i discovered that the ones who are giving us this special gift in our times of stress,sickness and lonliness; in our moments of happiness and sadness, are themselves suffering so much anguish and undergoing so much pain .
ReplyDeleteradio is the biggest and the best and the most important medium which connects a common man to the outer world and educates and entertains the masses ,literate or illetrate by providing us with good music besides imparting unlimited knowledge about our vast and diverse culture, traditions,literature,science,arts and history etc..the presenters are an essential and integral part of this phenomenon called radio. it is shocking that our radio presenters who entertain us with best of music in the world are being illtreated. with their voices and creativity,they reach out to the majority of the people of this vast country and become part of the daily lives of the listeners who go about their daily work with renewed energy and strength. the advent of messaging has also facilitated the common man to share his moments of happiness and grief with the presenters ,and this increased connectivity has prevented isolation of the sick,old and anyone who is wanting for company can find this medium as its best friend.the presenters have become a boon for the lonely,sick and elderly,who share their thoughts with them and have created special bonds of humanity.hence it is extremely saddening and disheartening to know that our dear radio presenters, who are really doing a great job of preserving our cultural heritage,are not being paid salaries,are being insulted and demoralised,and are being treated as bonded labour.what has really become of our indian culture and heritage which is being presented by air fm gold ? it is dehumanising its own talented artistes and is dishonest to its own creative talent while preaching about indian culture and traditions to the listeners,who are living in a dream world of their own about their favourite radiostation and the people associated with it..the management seems to be not practising what it is preaching.the onus of the programmes lies totally on the presenters but their creativity is being killed. where is the responsibility of the management ?it is demoralising to call new presenters for the programmes even when they have no knowledge and are not even able to pronounce simple words correctly and make a lot of mistakes ,while the expert presenters are being sidelined.
also it is totally disturbing to know that our old records are being treated as junk and there is no library to preserve and tag our great old music which is our national treasure.
i am very ashamed of being an indian who has always been a very proud and a regular radio listener of fm gold.i am totally disillusioned on finding about the truth of the activities going on in the radio station .
i request all the presenters to unite and fight for their rights and also hope that the management of air comes to its senses . my best wishes to the suffering artistes .
